Gunnar Aargaard Andersen is one of the most creative and innovative Danish designers of the 20th century. This is the beginning of the 19th century. Aargaard Andersen will be Born and died on July 29, 1919 in Ordrup, a village in the municipality of Gentofte, north of Copenhagen It is also located in Denmark, more precisely in the coastal town of Munkerup. To describe Gunnar Aargaard Andersen as a designer alone would not do justice to his multilayered, creative personality. Rather, he is an artist, painter, writer and sculptor who experiments with non-pictorial forms and modes of expression throughout his life. As co-founder of the Linien II movement, Aagaard Andersen focuses on symbolism and abstraction. His works are part of the Concrete Art art movement.
